Share your site
Copy your site’s address or download a QR code from the Share button on Home.
You share your site by sending its address or printing a QR code. Both are behind the Share button on Home. The same address works as your link in bio.
One link, two jobs
Put your address in your Instagram or TikTok bio and it does the job a Linktree would. Visitors who tap through from a social app, Facebook, Threads, X, LinkedIn or Snapchat included, land on a quick page of buttons for the things they came to do. Anyone who arrives another way, from Google, a QR code or a link you sent, gets your full site. There’s nothing to set up: your site works out where each visitor came from.
Share and View site
The Your site card on Home shows your site on a tablet, with a badge that says Live, Paused or Offline. Under it are two buttons. View site opens your site in a new tab. Tapping the picture does the same. Share opens the Share your site dialog.
At the top of the dialog is your address in a box. Press the copy button beside it to put the link on your clipboard.
QR code
Below the address is a QR code for the same link. Choose Dark or Light to suit where it will sit. The Milkcrate wordmark always sits under the code. Press Download QR code to save a PNG. The file name ends in DRK or WHT, so you can tell the two versions apart.
The code and the copied link use your site’s main address. If you connect your own domain and make it primary, they use that instead of <handle>.milkcrate.site.
When your site is paused
A paused site has no Share or View site buttons. The card shows a Paused badge and Turn back on instead. You pause a site in Settings → Domain. Visitors see a page reading “This site is offline right now” until you turn it back on.
Offline is different. It means your account is being deleted. An offline site has no Share or View site buttons either, and visitors see the same page.
If you change your address
After you change your Milkcrate address, the old one redirects to the new one for 90 days and then stops working. That includes QR codes you have already printed. Download a new code and update your links before the 90 days end. See your handle and address.
