Milkcrate is launching late 2026. These docs show how it will work.

Account settings

Settings → Account holds your email, mobile, address and time zone, your account type, and the buttons to export your data or delete your account.

Open Settings from the gear in the dashboard sidebar. Account is the first section. It holds the details Milkcrate keeps about you. None of it appears on your site. What visitors see is set under Identity.

Your email, mobile and address

The card at the top is called Your account. Each row opens when you tap it. Change what you need, then press Save on the bar at the bottom of the page.

Email is the address you log in with. Changing it works differently from the other rows. Type the new address and press Send link. Milkcrate emails a link to the new address, and your email changes when you open it. Until then you keep logging in with the old one. The link lasts an hour. If it runs out, send another.

You can change your mobile number but not remove it. Address is where you’re based.

Time zone

Time zone decides where each day starts in your analytics. Set it to where you work so a day’s visits land on the right date.

Account type

Below your details you’ll find Account type. Choose Creator, Professional, Business or Other. It’s free and takes effect straight away. Sections the new type doesn’t have are hidden, not deleted, and they return when you change type again. For what each type includes, see account types. Pricing is announced at launch.

Export your data

Press Request export. Milkcrate emails you a link to a download of everything on your account. The link works for 7 days. If you logged in with an emailed link, Milkcrate asks you to sign in with your password before it sends the export. Export stays available even after you’ve asked to delete your account.

Delete your account

Press Delete account and type your handle to confirm. Nothing is deleted yet. Milkcrate emails you a link, and the deletion starts when you open it.

  • Your site goes offline as soon as you open the link.
  • You have 30 days to change your mind. Press Cancel deletion on the banner at the top.
  • After 30 days your content, enquiries and analytics are erased, and your handle is released.

While the deletion is scheduled you can’t change your details. If you only want the site offline for a while, use Pause your site under Settings → Domain instead. Pausing loses nothing.
